Little Silas was born at 2:30 pm on October 28, 2006 to our good friends Jonathan and Judy Haywood. (The guys in that family have the coolest names.) He is the youngest person I have ever met. This is a picture through the windows of Woodward. It was a slushy and chilly bike ride this morning. Funny, though, there were no other bikes in the bike rack.

Well we talked him into going out to a Mexican restaurant (you know, the kind that sings and all that). We only asked for a free dessert; hoping in the back of our minds that they would come out with the guitar. George was in so much shock he didn’t know what to do. All in all it was a good time (even George admitted that it was fun after he had recovered).
