Shutting down the airport and the Post Office. Talk about a holiday mess! Still we had fun. Meeting all our neighbors and digging out our unplowed street and parking lot so that we could make it for our 2006 Holiday Road Trip. But i will let the pictures tell the story.

Well, after adjusting the timing belt, replacing the cap and rotor, getting a new distributor and having a steel connector custom made as well as a couple of battery recharges, “IT’S ALIVE!!”

Little Silas was born at 2:30 pm on October 28, 2006 to our good friends Jonathan and Judy Haywood.  (The guys in that family have the coolest names.)  He is the youngest person I have ever met.  (Colleen and I met him when he was just over a day old.)  For more info and lots of pictures, check out the website at http://silas.thehomeofjon.net/

We only asked for a free dessert; hoping in the back of our minds that they would come out with the guitar. George was in so much shock he didn’t know what to do. All in all it was a good time (even George admitted that it was fun after he had recovered). :-)
